Where?

This was perhaps the hardest question of all and is still not fully answered, and we actually like it that way. At this point, we have airline tickets that take us through December 2nd, when we arrive in Bangkok Thailand. Much of our travels will be decided as we go.

Here is what we know:

Ecuador (August 14 – September 17)
Including Quito, Otavalo, Cuenca, Latacunga, the rainforest via Tena, and the cloudforest near Mindo.
Peru (September 17 – October 7)
Including Lima, Pisco, Isla Balletas, Arequipa, Puno, Cusco, Ollantaytambo and Machu Picchu
Argentina (October 7 – November 17)
Including Buenos Aires, Iguazu Falls, Ushuaia (Tierra del Fuego), El Calafate and Bariloche (Patagonia), Cordoba and Mendoza.
USA, Los Angeles (November 17 – November 19)
Transit to Asia, visit with a dear friend and recharge bodies, minds and supplies for a day or so.
Japan (November 19 – December 2)
Including Tokyo, Kanazawa, Takayama, Nara and Hiroshima)
Thailand (December 2nd…….this is where the plans get a bit looser……January 4th)
Including Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam

This is what we plan from there:
India (month of January)
New Zealand (February and March)
South Africa or Tanzania (2 weeks)
Egypt then Israel then Jordan (3 weeks – until early May)
Turkey (3 weeks – until end of May)
Greece (3 weeks – mid June)
Switzerland and other European countries (until mid July return to Durham)
