It seems that Ainsley’s post with a video was quite popular, so we have a new page for posting all of our videos in one place. I’ll post new ones at the top and let the older ones move down.
It’s been a while since we posted any videos, and we have a few more to post, but here is a little snippet from our first full day in Tokyo. I wish I had one of the anonymous man on the train who took it upon himself to clean up a nasty looking liquid spill. He did it tissue by tissue, very carefully. They say that the Japanese culture/society has a unique focus on cleanliness. We saw it in action!
Here is a video of a small stand in the subway station where they were making some kind of sweet waffle like treat. The speed at which he made them was truly amazing.
We captured a little sea lion pup jumping into the water on Peninsula Valdes on the coast of Argentina. The weather was quite stormy, but he was confident heading out to sea.
Ainsley and Jack swimming in a waterfall near Iguazu Falls. This was at the end of a 3.2 km trail on which we saw Capuchin Monkeys climbing through the trees. Eliot got his bathing suit on too, but didn’t quite venture under the falls as his swimming confidence is still building.
Here’s an older one that Ainsley filmed. Kelli was doing yoga in Cuenca and Eliot and Jack decided to join in. They are especially cute trying to do some of the yoga poses.
We had an interesting bus ride in Lima on Friday when a young man stepped on and started performing card tricks. He had a commanding voice and some impressive sleight of hand tricks. After he finished, he walked through the bus selling small candies to the passengers. Here is a short segment of his performance.
Here is a view of the Rio Blanco when we hiked for 2 hours to a waterfall for some sliding and swimming. We hiked there after an evening and morning of rain. Once you view the video you will understand why we didn’t swim.
Now showing, the tarantula film from the jungle. Don’t worry everyone is safe in the end!
Here is the popular larvae tasting video from the jungles of Ecuador. (Sorry, I can’t seem to fix the picture below, but the video works fine.)
